Canyon Skurda in Kotor

An amazing Canyoning Experience for visitors to the Kotor Bay area. Skurda Canyon is a geological feature carved out of the mountain of St. John which stands to the east of of Kotor. The Skurda River runs almost perfectly vertically down into the Bay of Kotor and has carved an intricate channel with smooth, striated rock faces on three sides, and sometimes four as the canyon becomes a vertical tunnel at some points.
The day starts with an upward hike for a view of the majestic, mountainous landscape that Montenegro has to offer. Follow it up with a venture into the canyon, a thrilling climb, in which the guests will cascade down the canyon walls, through waterfalls and tunnels, and eventually end back at the starting point, the historical town of Kotor.
